No Frills Fun Run - Year 3

Kira Spidale

We met Kira Spedale as an 11 year old triplet and student at Visitation School. Kira was diagnosed with a malignant brain stem tumor known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) on May 14th, 2013. She showed us what it meant to be fearless in the face of life’s challenges, how to be happy and positive, and how to always have hope.

She is loved and will always be in the hearts of the No Frills runners and friends.

Update - Kira battled for 17 months but sadly, lost her battle on October 4th, 2014, six weeks shy of her12th birthday.
